This past weekend, the AGASA Counter-Strike 1.6 Challenge had begun with a great start, featuring no more than 21 teams participating in the online tournament. These 21 teams have been divided into the following groups and will have the opportunity to intitially compete in a round robin to determine the top two finishers of each group that will proceed further into the tournament.

During the African Continentals (AfriCon), our very own Marc "saidin" Bowes from Bravado Gaming was positioned as captain of the official South African team put up to face top 3 DotA squad in the world, SK-Gaming. Unfortunately, given the unfamiliar roster and one week of no practice, the boys had no high expectations. However, it was a thrilling experience, he said.
